What’s this? Swedish duo Smith & Thell are back! They’ve got a new single out – ‘I Feel It In The Wind’.
What’s it like? This is Smith & Thell at their very best. A rip-roaring country-pop tune with a melody that gives the sads, paired with a lyric that encourages hope. It’s already standing out as one of the strongest in their catalogue, which is no small feat, said catalogue considered.
What do they say? “The essence of our music is to combine darkness and light, and to seek hope and meaning in things that may seem meaningless. These are extremely difficult times, and the world is facing unprecedented challenges. With this song we want to say that if there is life, there is hope. If you can see a spark on a salty cheek, then you find calm in apathy. If you can hear the sound of a heart grieving, I believe it has faith left. The winds will soon turn.”
Written by? Smith, Thell and Fredrik Sonefors.
More from Smith & Thell? Back in February they released ‘Planet Mars‘.
