Swedish artist TOFFE debuted with this big tune over the weekend. It’s ‘Painting Pictures’. Citing “legends such as Peter Gabriel, Frank Zappa and Genesis” as his influences, he promises a fusion of musical styles in his songs – all of which he writes and produces himself. “To…paint a picture, think both electronic and organic, topped with seamless synth layers, pop hooks, irresistible melodies and stirring lyrics“. ‘Painting Pictures’ is an exciting introduction to the gent from Kalmar – with an epic chorus on it.
