Sonja Aldén is back with a new album next month, ‘I Andlighetens Rum’. (preceded by new single ‘Omkring Tiggarn Från Luossa’).
She’s put together a short presentation, previewing each of the songs from the new album – and sent it on over to Scandipop to premiere. So have a listen below.
Fans of Sonja will be pleased to know that she hasn’t strayed anywhere too far from the formula of her previous three albums. Three enduring records which have endeared her to those of us who enjoy melodic folk ballads delivered by a stunning, inimitable vocal. She knows what she does best, and she continues to do it. And we love her for that.
Also included on this album, is a new version of her Melodifestivalen 2012 track ‘I Din Himmel’.
The album will be released on October 16th. Promoted heavily by her appearance on the latest series of the mega successful Körslaget show, which starts this weekend.
