THE Velvet?! THE very one. She returned today with the release of her first single in a year, ‘Friendly Fire’. AND she’s put a video out for it.
What’s it like? Not what you were expecting. For now, she’s dropped the dancepop that she’s most well known for. And ‘Friendly Fire’ is instead a dramatic and beat driven pop track that takes the tempo down a few notches. It’s not your typical Velvet single. But it’s a VERY good Velvet single. See if you agree,
What a joyous occasion. And to mark the event, she held a release party at her home last night – inviting over Shirley Clamp, Linda Bengtzing and Andreas out of Alcazar to all watch the video together. True story. IMAGINE that.
