What’s this? New music from Swedish dance-pop peddler ILY – she’s back with her latest tune (and first solo release in 12 months) ‘The Love’.
What’s it like? It’s an engagingly feel-good dance track befitting a song title that promises so much. This isn’t just love – it’s The Love. A hands-to-the-sky, joyful declaration of all of the feels that come with that very emotion.
What does ILY say? “I wanted to make a song that felt as uplifting and free as I did back in my early, carefree twenties. Never-ending nights, dancing to late 2000s house music and loving life. It was written and recorded by me and Albin Myers during the lockdown, reminiscing and longing to get back to the dancefloor.”
