OMG at the fact that these lot are back! Norwegian group Donkeyboy today release their brand new single ‘Downtown’, and suddenly the pop landscape seems an even better place to be dwelling in.
What’s it like? We’re not being funny right, but there are two choruses on offer here. Both featuring the Donkeyboy chorus trademarks – bewilderingly epic and impossibly catchy. ‘Downtown’ is their best song since the ‘Silver Moon’ album.
Written by? Kent Sundberg, Cato Sundberg, Lasse Michelsen, Tor Erik Hermansen (Stargate) and Ross Golan have composed it. Ross Golan, Jason Evigan and Mozella have written the lyrics.
Is there more to come soon? We jolly well hope so. This is the first release since last year’s Greatest Hits album (and what a fucking record that is), so would expect a new album or EP to be on its way.
