The latest season of Benjamin Ingrosso’s cookery and chat show for TV4 – Benjamin’s – has just wrapped, and with it comes the soundtrack album of collaborations featured on the programme. On it, there’s something quite special – in the form of a song composed by Benjamin alongside the special guest of the last episode of the season, Björn Ulvæus. ‘I Had It All And Let It Go’ is quite reminiscent of the ABBA icon’s ‘Du Måste Finnas’, melodically speaking. And it also wouldn’t have sounded out of place being performed by Agnetha and Frida on the band’s recent ‘Voyage’ album. But with Benjamin Ingrosso on both the writing and production duties here, the young pop legend brings it back to his own sound, too – meaning that it could play perfectly alongside his own ‘En Gång I Tiden’ LP. A beautiful new composition from both writers, and already set to be a jewel in the crowns that are both guys’ catalogues.
