Danish singer Sisse Marie is back this week with a brand new single and video. It’s ‘Back To Life’.
Like all of Sisse Marie’s best moments, ‘Back To Life’ is dirty (like, you know, FILTHY) house music, with her own inimitable sultry vocal over the top of it. This one comes complete with a dreamy “la la la la, la la la…….yeah” chorus. This isn’t hands-in-the-air dancepop excitement, it’s a lie-back and experience a bass driven climax sort of affair.
We always write about Sissie Marie’s new musical endeavors, because they’re consistently good. And she’s proved herself to be a dab hand at producing eye catching videos to accompany her songs too. This one is no exception. Filmed in the USA, with plenty of glamour shots, and a particularly striking scene in which she stomps through a serene cemetery covered in white headstones, while herself dressed in a white frock. It just works.
