Allsång På Skansen reached the end of its season last night, and the last show of 2011 aired on SVT.
After opening with a bang back in early June with a show that featured September, Danny Saucedo, and Benny Andersson’s Orchestra, it’s gone on to give us a tremendous line up of artists over the summer. We’ve been granted scandipop favourites such as Eric Saade, Elisa’s, Siw Malmkvist, Sara Varga, Eric Amarillo, Lena Philipsson, Vanessa Falk, Malena Ernman, Babsan, and so many others. And on top of all that, Måns Zelmerlöw has turned out to be the perfect host, and done a stellar job of the almighty task he was given – to reign over proceedings. Plus it meant we got to see him perform a few times too – always a bonus.
We hope you’ve enjoyed the often bizarre but always entertaining performance highlights that we’ve posted on here every week after each show. And of Lotta På Liseberg too, which also finished its run, last week. To us, they’re a Swedish summer staple, and long may they continue!
Last night’s show featured Peter Jöback and Björn Skifs, amongst others, and you can watch the whole show at SVT’s website here, plus the individual performances here. Naturally though, for us, it was ALL about Nanne Grönvall and her brief yet show stealing appearance to lead the crowd in a sing-a-long rendition of ‘Håll Om Mig’.
A send off that epitomises all that’s great about this show;
