This week in Sweden saw the release of a new track that we’ve been looking forward to IMMENSELY! It’s ‘Don’t Try To Steal My Limelight’, by Miss Inga featuring NONE OTHER THAN Dominika and La Camilla of Army of Lovers fame!

The two girls made up half of the iconic eighties and nineties pop band, and contributed a large part towards the memorable look, sound, and attitude of the group – which earned them a large following, and a smaller cult fansbase who still obsess over them to this day. So as expected, the pairing of La Camilla and Dominika for the first time in a long time, has already caused varying levels of excitement and interest online.

As for the song – well it’s exactly what you’d imagine a track called ‘Don’t Try To Steal My Limelight’, performed by a drag queen and two of Army of Lovers, to sound! Camp theatrics, diva lyrics, and a euro dance beat. It’s quite gay friendly, to say the least. The verses are mostly spoken, but the chorus contains a pleasingly catchy riff. Needless to say, we’re fully on board!
