Denmark’s most recent X Factor winner, Sarah, is back with her second single.
And after her debut single, ‘Min Øjesten, which was released right after the show, proved to be such a success for her, the follow-up doesn’t stray too far away from that sound. It’s another gorgeously melodic r&b ballad with rock sensibilities – tame and slow at its heart, but aggressive in its relentless (and successful) attempts at drawing you in. Sad, but incredibly uplifting too. Christ, how does a pop song manage to fit so many of these contradictions in?!
We can’t speak Danish (so we let the funky music do the talking, talking, oh) but coupled with an expressive video, it’s not too difficult to work out what lyrical message this song is trying to get across. It’s ok, it’s gonna be ok, everything’s gonna be fine.
