Sanna Nielsen was this morning’s music guest on Nyhetsmorgon. Now, *normally* we aren’t the biggest fans of acoustic sets, as you may have noticed, guessed, or cottoned onto! However, in Sanna’s case we make an exception, simply because not only does her voice lend itself so well to the bare accompaniment of an acoustic guitar, but her material does too. Yes we prefer the full on pop backing of her big tunes, but they’re the sort of songs that still sound great when they’re stripped down to a minimum. And this morning in particular, she brought an extra special song into her set that sounded magical within the acoustic mold.
She bestowed a gorgeous cover of Sarah McLachlan’s ‘Angel’ upon TV viewers. It was an absolute stunner, and she was flawless throughout. Definitely one of the best live vocals we’ve ever heard from her. All very WOW!
She also performed current single ‘Can’t Stop Love Tonight’, and her debut single from way back in 1996 – ‘Till En Fågel’.
