Brilliantly barmy Danish superstar (yes, she IS a superstar – just you wait!) is back with another single from her album, and thus a brand new pop vid.
The song is ‘White Nights’ and it’s one of the more commercial cuts from her current self titled album. The chorus is big and poppy, and so naturally it was one of the songs that we drifted towards when first falling in love with the record (although actually, our favourite track is still the moody and atmospheric ‘Lean‘). Effortlessly catchy, it has an endearing habit of catching you and forcing you to fall for its many charms. And isn’t it marvelous when a pop song can do that to you?
The video takes its lead from the song’s lyrical content – and it’s one long bizarre dream sequence. Although bizarre as it may be, it does still manage to ape the song’s characteristics even further, and presents a fresh barrage of irresistible charms all of its own!
Video (which has earned 600,000 plays in only 4 days) below. And underneath that is a live performance video so accomplished, that it could act as the single’s pop vid all by itself!
