The annual Kristallen Gala took place in Sweden last week. A high-brow TV awards show kinda thing. Which had an extra special pop performance take place. By Loreen!
She performed her own interpretation of the song ‘Sugar Man’. Originally by Sixto Rodríguez, and the subject of the documentary Searching For Sugar Man, which won the award for Best Documentary at the same Gala.
Her interpretation turns the song into a Loreen-ballad. One of those frought, emotional and incredibly dramatic ballads over which she does her own inimitable thing.
