So thankfully Jessica Folcker’s comeback single last month was no one-off. And after the well received ‘Who Am I‘ in March, comes ‘It’s All About You’ next month.
‘It’s All About You’ is a fast paced, summer tinged, pop SLASH reggae track. With just the subtlest of nods towards Jessica’s 90s beginnings, in both the production, and in the strong pop melody that is present. Written by Björn Djupström and Moh Denebi, and produced by Moh Denebi. And the rapper featured during the middle eight, is Cleo, who collaborated with Jessica last year on her cover of Leila K’s ‘Electric’.
She’s back for real, and she’s been consistently brill with both singles. So a new album from her is now near the top of our wishlist for 2013.
‘It’s All About You’ is released on May 1st. But this morning she dropped by Nyhetsmorgon on TV4 in Sweden, to premiere the song, plus to perform previous single ‘Who Am I’. Here you can watch both performances;
