The time is finally upon us – the era of new music from LOREEN herself!
Some have been waiting for this moment ever since her Melodifestivalen win in March, others since the first time they laid eyes on her in May for her Eurovision Song Contest win, and then there were the more eager beavers (*sheepishly raises hand*) who’ve craved new music from her since seeing what a megastar she had turned into with ‘Euphoria’ during its first Melodifestivalen rehearsal back in early February (and we called it as a Eurovision winner back then too!).
Either way – she’s taken a mare of a while bloody getting on with it.
But it’s finally really happening.
On Monday October 8th, Loreen will release her new single in Sweden, the follow up to ‘Euphoria’. And while everywhere outside of Sweden will be getting a remixed version of ‘My Heart Is Refusing Me’, the Swedes get a brand new song – ‘Crying Out Your Name’. The track is written by Moh Denebi (the gent behind both Loreen’s first two singles ‘My Heart Is Refusing Me’ and ‘Sober’), Ana Diaz (the lady who co-wrote ‘One Last Time’, ‘Amazing’, and ‘All I Want Is You’ for Agnes), and Niklas Jarl, who has written for Westlife, Jedward, and lots of Scandipop hits too.
HOORAY!
Also forthcoming very soon is that much anticipated debut album of hers. This week she released the artwork and tracklisting for ‘Heal’, which is released on October 24th. Artwork above, tracklisting below.
Right now, it’s just slated for a Swedish release. However, if you live outside of Sweden, you can pre-order the CD from our online store right here, and it will be posted out to you in the week of release.
