Swedish Super producer Niclas Kings is all set to unleash a single. Credited as Niclas Kings featuring Jany, it’s an infectious and fun dance track called ‘Da Da Da’. And as the title suggests, it’s got a catchy little ”da da da” vocal chorus that sets up residency in your head and refuses to leave without a fight. Couple in the 2002 AATW era synths, and the genius inclusion of an alarm sound that turns itself into a synth riff, and you’ve got a pleasingly great dance gem!
We’ve long admired his writing and production work with 2N, which was responsible for countless classics for Kate Ryan. And we’ve also liked his solo production work for Daniela and Hera Björk. Plus, as a remixer he’s been responsible for an ace remix of Anna Bergendahl’s ‘This Is My Life’ (his remix is still in the Swedish iTunes chart). So we’re pleased that we’re finally getting ‘Niclas Kings’ credited singles. And long may they continue, based on ‘Da Da Da’!
