Jasmine Kara has been building a name for herself over the past few years as one of Sweden’s leading new soul singers. Her brand of the genre is quirky soul. Soul music that leans a lot towards pop. And that’s probably why we seem to like her tunes so much.
New single ‘Imperfect’ is another retro romp from her. Infectiously upbeat, as is her way. And tackling the issue of a person’s own perceptions and acceptance of their flaws. Minus the cheese somehow. Although that’s probably subjective.
