The artist formerly known as Gnucci Banana, now seems to going under the not too distant moniker of Gnucci (with two things at the top of both ‘c’s (see pic below) that mostly won’t show up in text formats – that’ll be useful for her). And with the makeover of her name, comes what we reckon is jolly well the best single of her career so far – ‘360 Donna’.
Following on from her previous singles ‘Animal’ and ‘Famalam Jam’, plus her recent collab with Tove Styrke ‘Bad Time For A Good Time’ (and you can read about and listen to all three of tracks here), ‘360 Donna’ sees Gnucci sticking to her sound, but stepping things up a gear. From the moment the beat and the vocal comes in, it hooks. And doesn’t relent or let go until the song is through having its wicked way with you.
For the uninitiated who don’t know what to expect from this lady, mark this down as M.I.A meets Azealia Banks. And you’re some of the way there.
