Galaxies are a brand new Icelandic pop duo, who have just released their first single, ‘I Don’t Want This Love’. By the looks of the single artwork, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it’s some kind of classical music piece, ala Vanessa Mae or Bond, but don’t worry – it’s a fully certified cheesy dance track!
The violin and the flute make appearances on the cover to show off the fact that the girls, Magdalena and Védís, are both classically trained musicians. And while that sort of becomes insignificant when you hear the track, the instruments aren’t totally redundant – as both get a solo during the extended RAVE that is the middle eight!
It’s nothing we haven’t heard before, but BOY is it something we want to hear again!
