This was emailed to us last week and we fell in love with its charms instantly. Well – more like within 56 seconds anyway. The time it took for the chorus to arrive. And what a tremendous chorus that is.
It’s ‘Bad Decision’ – the debut single from Danish electro duo $extape. Or Brik Storm and Stina Kinck as they’re know to their nearest and dearest. Kinck is an amazing surname. We want it. Marry us, Stina!
‘Bad Decision’ is a downtempo, sparse electro affair. Or at least that is until that aforementioned chorus kicks in. A massive chorus that has quite a lot in common with something that Soso/Sophia Somajo would have put on her ‘That Time I Dug So Deep I Ended Up In China’ album. It’s a commandeering melody over a lazily sultry production. It’s S&M kinky. Or should that be kincky.
