In Sweden we have Allsång På Skansen, Lotta På Liseberg, and Sommarkrysset, when it comes to weekly televised shows in the summer that are bursting with pop and schlager performances. Over in Norway, they have Allsang På Grensen. That kicked off on Wednesday night and was televised in Norway last night. And the big name who was opening the season for them?…….A one Mr Eric Saade!
He performed ‘Popular’, but not as we know it. He spiced it up a little for his fans, by commencing it as a ballad, before letting rip into the full rave-up version that we all know and love, halfway through. A cracking performance from him, of the standard that he perfected while at Eurovision.
