Swedish pop superstar Zara Larsson is out with something a lil’ bit special for the holiday season. ‘Honor The Light’ is the singer’s very first festive EP, featuring unique interpretations of some Christmas classics. It’s got her trilling the hymn ‘Silent Night’, plus her take on the modern seasonal gem that is ‘Winter Song’. We also get to hear her sing in her native Swedish – including a version of the Swedish Christmas staple ‘Tänd Ett Ljus’ (and an English version as a bonus – ‘Light A Candle’) and the Lucia classic ‘Sankta Lucia’. All this, and she’s topped it off with the original song ‘Memory Lane’, which we featured on here a couple of weeks ago. It’s not a festive song itself, but it does set the tone of the interpretations that are to follow – a lovingly-wrapped new gift to add to our Christmas listening this year.
