A new young lady popstar who debuted in 2014 has just released her second single and video. Get yourself re-acquainted with Becca Adams, especially since she’s changed her sound (or at least her tempo) on this new single, ‘I Will’.
The last time we wrote about Becca she was getting all clubbed up on debut single ‘Kind of Love’. Normally we don’t encourage young girls who sing pop music to veer too far away from dancepop, if they’re already doing it well. But as ‘I Will’ is QUITE the beauty, we’ll let her get away with this one.
‘I Will’ is a BALLAD. Get that! An enormously dramatic and overwrought piece of balladry that has been produced with a pop lover in mind. It’s for those of us who like a bit of ostentatiousness in our love songs – a bit OTT. And this one’s a cross between Zara Larsson’s ‘Uncover’ and a candlelight version of Alesso and Ryan Tedder’s ‘Calling’ (which doesn’t exist, but should).
‘I Will’ was written by Becca herself, and produced by Becca and Robin Bennich.
