Ola this morning premiered the video to his latest single, ‘Riot’, on Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet’s website. And after the might of ‘All Over The World’, it’s another big concept, high budget, epic, head-fuck of a pop vid!
It’s creepy, it’s ghastly, it’s dark, it’s grimey……..but above all, it’s very good! Like a cross between a seedy gangster film, and two of the Backstreet Boys’ classic vids of yesteryear – ‘Larger Than Life’ and ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)’! There’s a lot going on, but at the height of it all is Mr Ola Svensson himself looking every inch the international pop superstar that he’s hopefully on his way to becoming soon.
