Today Moa Lignell premiered the video for her debut single ‘When I Held Ya’, on Aftonbladet’s website.
We’ve already written about how great the song is here, and it’s since gone on to become the hit it was expected to in Sweden – in radio airplay, Spotify streaming, and longevity on the Digilisten sales chart.
The video presents Moa as the very girl that viewers fell in love with when she first auditioned for Swedish Idol last year. Every year there’s a couple of quirky yet catchy, young female fronted, singer/songwriter tunes that go on to become quiet hits all over the world. ‘When I Held Ya’ would be the perfect candidate for this kind of success in 2012, and we hope that Universal give it the hard sell that’ll be needed for this to transpire.
