Aqua continue their oh-so welcome comeback by presenting the video to their big comeback single, ‘How R U Doin’. The song has been a certified hit in their native Denmark, and will be followed by their first album of new material in over ten years, later in 2011.
The video has a dark, Sin City-esque vibe to it. It’s a car chase/race set on a futuristic wasteland. The cars aren’t quite real, and nor is the set, but it’s all been crafted and put together brilliantly, and looks quite beautiful in full HD. Lightyears (or rather, twelve years!) away from the technicolour Aqua videos we got with their very first album, it firmly establishes Aqua as they are here and now.
