The very very very great Tove Styrke was last night awarded for her very very very greatness by picking up the prize for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the P3 Guld Radio Awards.
P3 are the biggest radio station in Sweden, and it’s a prestigious title to be given one of their awards. To demonstrate just why she had been given such an honour, Tove took to the stage at the event to perform for everyone. Her choice of song wasn’t exactly popular with us – it was ‘Million Pieces’. However, she did perform the fantastic remix of it by Familjen, so all was right in the end.
One thing we HAVE to point out though – how amazing does she look? She’s a naturally pretty girl, but at recent events we got the impression that if anything, she was actually trying to disguise her natural beauty, and to look as unpretty as possible. We guessed that perhaps it was in some effort to make sure that her looks didn’t detract from any of the music credibility that she’s earning? Why else would anyone go out looking like that?! Anyway, last night she looked effing fantastic. Dolled up and looking every inch the popstar who is on the verge of becoming a superstar – a comparison we feel is very fitting to Tove.
