We had a nice surprise whilst perusing the latest UK release schedule this morning. Although quite an odd one too. Remember Tone Damli Aaberge? The lady who finished second behind Alexander Rybak at the 2009 Melodi Grand Prix in Norway. Well she’s releasing a single in the UK on July 26th. But it’s not a new single, it’s the song which actually did finish behind Alexander’s ‘Fairytale’ back in 2009 – ‘Butterflies’. It’s a lovely little song and it’s nice to see it being given a shot at international success. The song was also a minor radio hit in Sweden in 2009.
