Swedish superstar Måns Zelmerlöw has announced a headline show at London’s Islington Academy on April 20th. Amazing. We’re going and we’re gagging! And if you fancy it too, then tickets are available now through Ticket Web.
Zelmerlöw will visit London as part of an eight-date European headline tour in support of the new album ‘Chameleon’, which y’all voted as your album of the year at the Scandipop Awards earlier last month (also voting him Best Male Popstar).
If you’re elsewhere in Europe, you’ve got between Amsterdam’s Melkweg on April 19th and Stodola in Warsaw on April 30th to see him. Full tour dates;
19/04 – Amsterdam, Melkweg
20/04 – London, Islington Academy
23/04 – Lille, Aeronef
24/04 – Caluire-Et-Cuire, Le Radiant Bellevue
25/04 – Paris, YOYO
26/04 – Marseille, Le Silo
28/04 – Zurich, Plaza
30/04 – Warsaw, Stodola
He’ll also be visiting Iceland to perform at Söngvakeppninni on March 11th.
In other Måns news, he’s currently putting the finishing touches to his French language album, after the success of both ‘Rien Que Nous Deux’ and in particular ‘Je Ne Suis Qu’un Homme’. He’s also just taken a new job at Swedish radio station Mix Megapol where he will host his own radio show at 10am daily. And he’s right now the 3/1 favourite to be announced as one of the cast on the next series of Så Mycket Bättre – with other Scandipop faves Sanna Nielsen at 4/1, Sabina Ddumba at 6/1, and Robyn at 8/1. Meaning we may even be getting more new music before the year is out.
