It wasn’t just Benny & Björn (and Avicii) that got to compose a brand new song especially for Eurovision. At Tuesday night’s semi final, SVT called upon another Swedish producer who has been behind a recent UK number 1. Andreas Kleerup.
He submitted the brand new piece ‘Northern Lights’. And it was *very* Kleerup to those of us who already know and love him work. ‘Northern Lights’ is an intrumental track. But sounding much like the productions of his biggest and most popular hits. So it was very much in the same vein as ‘With Every Heartbeat’, ‘Longing For Lullabies’, and ‘Requiem Solution’.
Truly a gorgeous piece of music, that was pretty stunning to listen to when we first heard it in the arena.
And we hope that he ropes in someone special to provide a vocal version for his forthcoming album.
