We just couldn’t help ourselves.
Since so many of the results this year went horribly wrong, and Sweden seemed largely incapable of picking a good tune out of a line-up of questionable quality, we had to intervene.
So last weekend we re-wrote the results of each of the four heats, and came up with an alternative final, and an alternative andra chansen – for you to vote in. (full breakdown of our new results of the four heats, right here).
All last week you dear readers have been voting in our alternative andra chansen poll. And after you selected four songs to go through to the duel stages, you then voted that Army of Lovers beat Swedish House Wives, and that Martin Rolinski won against Anton Ewald. Both duels ended in 65% to 35%.
Now we’ve got our alternative final. And while the actual final in fairness hasn’t turned out as bad as we thought it would, we still think ours is a hell of a lot better. Watch the performances of all ten of our finalists below. And VOTE!
