Yesterday morning on Nyhetsmorgon they had Sanna Nielsen in to provide the Christmas tunes. It made sense – Sanna’s new Christmas album ‘Vinternatten’ has been the biggest selling seasonal effort in Sweden this year. So yes – let’s get her on.
The lovely lady performed the single to be taken from that album, ‘Viskar Ömt Mitt Namn‘, and she also did album track ‘Drummer Boy’. You can watch both performances below. (a shame Nyhetsmorgon ROBBED us of the usual three performances)
It’s a fab album and well worth checking out before the year ends. As well as Christmas tunes, it also includes a new ballad version of her Melodifestivalen hit ‘I’m In Love’, and a cover of Leona Lewis’ ‘Bleeding Love’. Splendid. Non Swedes can pick up the album on CD from our online store here.
