You may remember we wrote a little bit about Xander when he first emerged on ‘the scene’ in early Autumn last year, and then again in December when we got the video to his song ‘Det Burde Ikke Være Sådan Her’. Well since then, the single has quite rightfully so, become massive in his native Denmark. And last month he cemented his status as exciting newcomer, when he got to perform the song on the huge stage (and to a huge audience) as the interval act of the 2011 Melodi Grand Prix. The song still sounds fantastic to our ears, so it was great to finally see it performed on stage.
He released his debut album ‘Overskyer Under Vand’ a couple of weeks ago. We still haven’t had a chance to check it out, but it’s somewhere near the top of our (long) list!
