Last week she won TWO honours in the 2015 Scandipop Awards, for Best New Artist and Best Debut Single. This follows the launch of her pop career with the brilliant ‘Aliens (Her Er Jag)’ (read more about the song here, and check out the video here). It’s an exciting reality knowing that in 2015 we’re going to be hearing a lot more from Ina Wroldsen, the artist.
And the reason it’s so exciting is because we know precisely what she’s capable of. While she might be a new artist, we’ve of course known Ina Wroldsen and her music for quite some time. She’s written for Britney, Leona, Alexandra, and One Direction, The Wanted, and Little Mix. And so many more in between. She’s composed a veritable cacophony of US hits, UK hits, and our favourite – Scandihits! There are few people in pop music who know their way around a tune and a half like Ina Wroldsen does. And there are even fewer that we drop everything for, when a new composition of theirs gets released.
So while we wait for the arrival of more music from Ina Wroldsen herself, we decided to take a look back through the impressive catalogue of songs that she’s written for other artists.
There are QUITE a lot. In fact, here’s a whopping great Spotify playlist featuring 58 of the buggers.
But let’s focus on the best. Here, dear readers, are 10 of our favourite songs that Ina Wroldsen has written for other popstars;
