Swedish dance outfit We Are Legends returned yesterday with a brand new single – their collaboration with Artymove, ‘Passionate Ones’.
Last year We Are Legends WOWED us with the sublime ‘Shoestrings‘. This one is a tiny bit more subdued though, taking its influence from the clubland classics of the 90s rather than the debaucherous underground fight club dancefloors of ‘Shoestrings’. This one goes a bit further than most of the other 90s influenced dance tracks around at the moment. It’s not just got a classic production, but the melody and vocal also pays a tight and perfectionist homage to that era.
Best bit is the middle eight all the way through to the end of the final chorus, where it all proceeds to basically go off on one.
‘Passionate Ones’ is out now and has been released outside of Sweden too.
