What’s this? The latest single from Swedish artist Oscar Zia. The second of his big comeback SLASH reinvention, following on from February’s ‘Det Går Aldrig’.
What’s ‘Kyss Mig i Slo-Mo’ like? In an always pleasant turn of events, it turns out that it’s EVEN BETTER than its predecessor. The production on this one is top-notch, and finds Oscar delivering his best vocal performance to date. And it’s just as well, too – that chorus deserved something special to bring it even further to life. Which Oscar does brilliantly. It’s one of our fave songs of the year so far and this week saw Oscar bring it to life on stage at Lotta på Liseberg – the performance of which you can watch below.
Written by? Oscar and Leslie, together with Petter Tarland and Edgeology. And produced by Edgeology too (Jonas Jurström, Rasmus Blixt, Kim Koubou).
More from Oscar? There WILL be an album before the end of the year. And plenty of new singles in the meantime. For the album, Oscar has been writing with (amongst others) Linnea Henriksson, Annika Norlin, Julia Adams, Miss Li, Ji Nilsson, and the duo MADFUN. And there’s also the music video for the single, which you can watch below. Featuring a tennis tournament with an unlikely runner-up prize.
