For the last couple of months, Danish trio Off Bloom have been releasing a run of singles culminating in the release of their second EP released at the end of last month. Featuring ‘Shut Up And Let Me Walk’,  ‘rockefe11a (F**k That To Be Honest)’, ‘Golden Dreams’, ‘Hey Bae’, and now the new single ‘Lover Like Me’ – the music video for which they released over the weekend.

According to the band themselves, “This EP is about love, sex, frustration, intoxication and of course loyalty loyalty loyalty. It’s a culmination of tracks that came together at very different times of our lives, all representing what we were feeling at the time, but with a similar vibe running through them. This group of songs represents the last 3-4 months of our lives – our ups and downs, our fuck-ups and successes, our loves and losses. We had an amazing time creating this EP and got to experience so much, and those experiences shaped the music, for instance working with our musical hero Hudson Mohawke. Really we just want to connect to the people listening to these tracks and hopefully some people will see themselves in them and in us and want to join the bloominati”.

It’s a hugely strong collection of singles, and serves as the follow up to last year’s debut EP ‘Love To Hate It’ that we all hoped we’d get. Highlights? Ooof. At a push we’d say ‘rockefe11a (F**k That To Be Honest)’, and ‘Lover Like Me’ are the picks of the bunch. The latter of which you can find on our Best New Artists playlist. But honestly, get immersed in the whole thing. Along with the new music video – below;
