NASSIM Al Fakir? Swedish television presenter, comedian, occasional musician, and yes – brother of Salem Al Fakir.
And this is his new single? Over the weekend he released ‘Hopp’, his first new single in over four years.
What’s it like? We checked it out a few days ago. Bizarre. Utterly, unequivocally bizarre. But we kept coming back to it. It’s bonkers, but it’s a little bit brilliant too. We think. It’s got brass, it’s got chants, it’s got a raved-up break-down, it’s got electro swing (hmmm). It’s mental. And we’re ever EVER so slightly in love with it.
Anything else we should know about Nassim? He’s partnered to Lina Hedlund out of Alcazar. What a woman!
