Some female fronted Scandipop singles that we’ve written and raved about recently, now have their very own pop videos to call their own. Let’s take a jolly good ogle at them, shall we?!

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Kate Havnevik (pictured above) uses the effect of lights, fabric, and wind to create a visual for her ‘Mouth 2 Mouth’ single which we wrote about here. It’s not the most gripping of popvids. But it does serve to accentuate the fragile nuances of the song itself. ‘Mouth 2 Mouth’ is a stunner. And while the video isn’t quite of the same standard, it’s at least a sensical soundtrack.

Aura Dione’s ‘Friends’ has been given a hugely fun and amazing video. She plays a sort of mad scientist character who creates her own being for companionship. It’s a beautifully shot video that gives a twisted charm to the meaning of the song. And it sheds a fun new light on a singer who’s previously come across as a little too mightier than thou. To our eyes anyway!

Here’s what we wrote about Gabrielle’s ‘Høster’ last month. A fab track which deserves a great video. Unfortunately though, the video treatment it’s been given borders on dull a little too often. There are far too many of those dark shots of her sitting on that bad all alone. The electrifying production on the track comes to life during those scenes where she’s in amongst all of the screen lights. If they insisted on keeping her in that room throughout the shoot, they could have at least had more of those shots. Oh well. As with all the videos in this post, if you’ve not yet listened to the song itself, do it. They’re all marv!
