As if to mark the date of the latest scandipop club night (we always play at least five Velvet tracks throughout the course of the evening!), Fever Pitch Records have uploaded the brand new video for ‘Chemistry’, her first full UK release. The single is out in April, and hopefully this video will be receiving heavy rotation on music tv up until then. And our verdict on her latest audio visual treat? We love it! It’s all neon lights, endless legs, and come-to-bed eyes! All set against a black backdrop. Velvet herself looks hotter than ever, particularly in the full body shots where she’s wearing THAT little pink dress. And she looks totally comfortable playing the sex kitten role, even more so when she’s being wrapped in the naked male muscled body – which happens a fair bit in this video. Yum!
And over in Sweden, Velvet had her first day of rehearsals for her participation in this weekend’s Melodifestivalen Heat 3. Apparently ‘The Queen’ is really fun and upbeat, and also not very vocally demanding – which means she should be letting herself go in the choreography stakes. BWO, EMD, and Molly Sanden are still the favourites though apparently – so Velvet needs to hope that she can snag that last second chance round place that’ll be left after the aforementioned three get the top three positions.
