This Wednesday sees the release of the largely anticipated debut album from Ulrik Munther. The young chap has been causing notable levels of excitement this year with his rise to fame and the musical stylings which have accompanied it. In Sweden he’s captured the full attention of the press at every step he’s taken, and built up an army of fans in the process. And he’s also becoming something of a name internationally too, thanks to the blogosphere’s constant coverage of him.
Not that the album needs that much promoting as a result, but regardless, Universal Music Sweden have indulged in a brilliant press release. Last week, they sent out a package to a select amount of press, which contained an actual mini harmonica! Because Ulrik plays the harmonica at his gigs, get it?! And it’s not some cheap plastic thing either, it’s a proper M Hohner job.
There’s really no point in us keeping it though, so we thought we should give it away to one of his fans. SO, we’re doing just that. The lucky recipient will get a package in the post containing;
- the aforementioned harmonica (don’t worry, it hasn’t touched our lips!)

- a 6 track album sampler
- a postcard
