We got tweeted this yesterday by @ChrisFLilley, accompanied by the message “sound the awesome new Norwegian pop song klaxon“. He got THAT right! We were hooked within the first ten seconds of pressing play.
It’s ‘Out Of Yourself’, the debut single from a new Norwegian artist Truls. For the sake of comparison, as it’s a new artist, let’s call the song a cross between Donkeyboy and Alphabeat. And you could particularly imagine the former coming out with something like this. From start to finish it’s captivatingly good. It’s quite simply, brilliant pop music.
What a debut!
The single was released last week, just in Scandinavia for now.
