Earlier in the week, we wrote about the fact that Salem had been unveiled as the second named participant of Melodifestivalen 2010. We wrote that it was the first time we’d heard of him, but that we’d investigated the music on his myspace page and were particularly enamoured with a little number called ‘It’s True’. We thought it sounded familiar but couldn’t quite place it. Well…one of our lovely readers left a comment under the article linking to a remix of ‘It’s True’ that brought it all back to us! Here it is in all it’s extended glory;
Remixed by two thirds of the ‘Swedish House Mafia’ Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, it’s a really familiar remix which had its fair share of play and popularity on the London club scene a couple of years ago.
Upon even further investigation though, we were even more excited to find out that Salem played violins on the studio version of this absolutely, mind blowingly, jaw droppingly, amazing Melodifestivalen gem;
