Tim Schou out of A Friend In London has just launched his first solo single since the group’s demise. It’s ‘Supernova’ and it is below.

‘Tis is a gorgeous piano ballad. And by “piano ballad” we mean that it is literally just him and a piano. As he’s tinkering away, he’s singing the absolute shit out of the massive melody that accompanies the lyrics about two lovers having an amazing time together most of the time. The best bit is the note at the end of the second chorus. Wow.

Most will know Tim from his time fronting A Friend in London. And most will know A Friend in London from when they represented Denmark at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, finishing a respectable 5th with ‘A New Tomorrow’. And if you don’t know the song, perhaps you will remember the moment when Tim screamed that he “would like to fuck you in the ass” as another 12 points came through for his country. Well Tim – we’re giving ‘Supernova’ a big Huit Points! What do we get for that?

Since A Friend In London split last year, Tim has appeared on the Danish version of Tom Daley’s TV show Splash (Stjerner På Vippen) – going on to win the whole thing. Google Images throw up some noteworthy moments from his time on the show. *SWOOOOOOON*
