Famous dance producer and DJ man Tiësto releases his new album ‘A Town Called Paradise’ on June 17th. This week though, he’s uploaded a very exciting cut from it onto his YouTube channel, and also made it available for download for those who pre-order the album on iTunes. And why is it exciting? Because it features bloody Icona Pop, that’s why!
It’s also exciting because it happens to be jolly good too. To be honest, it basically for all intents and purposes sounds like Icona Pop featuring on a dance track. It sounds like you thought it would sound. But it manages to exceed those expectations somewhat, by managing to be a little bit better than your standard Dance Act feat. Pop Act track. It’s LARGE, it’s got a great big bounce to it, and it’s quite infectiously feelgood too. Old time Icona Pop fans probably won’t appreciate it, but anyone who loved ‘I Love It’ will.
It’s also going to feature in a 7up advertising campaign or something like that (somewhere in the world), so this may well be the huge hit that (let’s face it) the girls really need right now.
