Abba’s Anni-Frid Lyngstad has contributed her legendary vocals to the new album by Jojje Wadenius (an album produced by Andreas Kleerup, and also featuring guest vocals from Nina Persson, Helen Sjöholm, and Peter Jöback). It’s only a cover of ‘Morning Has Broken’, but we don’t care – it’s amazing to hear Frida’s vocals again. It’s her first new recording in six years, but her voice is instantly recognisable as the voice behind so many of Abba’s hits from 30 years ago. And said voice is still a beauty.
