Log onto www.lippu.fi this Saturday if you’re interested in purchasing tickets for the Finnish Eurovision national final. It takes place on January 31st at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. We’ve been to Tampere before and it’s a rather lovely little town. It’s got that picturesque Scandinavian charm to it, and perfectly clean and crisp air. Very nice indeed. What’s more, Ryanair fly directly to Tampere airport from London for an absurdly cheap price. So that fact coupled with the price of the tickets for the show (20 – 40 Euro) makes it a cheap weekend break!
Also, Eurovision fans have already organised an afterparty at a local club. The party will go until 4am, with hopefully at least one spin of Finland’s greatest ever Eurovision entry; ‘Bye Bye Baby’ by CatCat (pictured above)!
