THE boyband of Sweden, The Fooo, have just put out a brand new song. And naturally, along with it, an ambitious performance video filmed somewhere in Sweden – this time in Hötorget’s underground station in Stockholm.
The song is ‘King Of The Radio’, and it’s ace. A cross between their usual brand of boyband pop, and Icona Pop’s – well – icona pop. It’s the sound of One Direction getting all synthed up and shouty. And it’s also the sound of The Fooo evolving ever so slightly towards the next stage of their careers. What IS next for them though? Well we don’t know how long they can keep doing the whole flashmob video thing before it gets a bit stale, but given how innovative the team behind them have been in the twelve months since their launch, we’re expecting something bigger quite soonish. And more superb pop tunes along the way.
