After her debut solo single ‘Prototypical‘ became a massive hit in both the Danish charts and the International blogosphere, Alphabeat’s Stine Bramsen is back with her new one – suitably titled ‘Move Forward’.
While her previous hit flirted with retro pop stylings, new single ‘Move Forward’ ramps us those flirtations and points them in the direction of two sonic suitors. On the one hand you’ve got flavours of 90s dance music, and on the other you’ve got the oh holy gospel sounds. And it works an absolute treat put together. It’s a hugely radio friendly number that’s uplifting and feelgood. And we’re actually kinda glad she waited five months to follow up ‘Prototypical’ (well, she had to – Danish radio wouldn’t stop playing it), because ‘Move Forward’ sounds BANG ON for the summer.
